The First Photograph
When was the first photograph made?
The first photograph was made in 1826 or 1827.
Where was it made?
It was taken on Joseph Nicephore Niepce's estate in La Gras, in the Burgundy region of France.
Who made it?
The photo was taken by Joseph Nicephore Niepce.
Where is it now?
The photograph is currently being displayed in the Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas at Austin. The university is in Austin, Texas; in the United States.
What do you think about it?
I think that the photo is very interesting. It is able to capture the image that Joseph wanted, yet is still blurry and hard to see. It is amazing though, considering the fact that this is the first photograph and that it is able to capture the scenery that the photographer wanted.
